This travel agreement is between the client and Nali Safaris Namibia. In terms of this travel agreement a booking is defined as a reservation which is done by the client or the client’s travel agency. The client is defined as the person who accepts the booking on behalf of himself or herself. The travel agency is defined as any agency that places or accepts a booking for any person or group of persons or company with Nali Safaris Namibia.

How to book?

Once you have decided to book a tour with us, then you confirm this by e-mail. Nali Safaris will then send you a confirmation notice of your booking, an invoice as well as our banking details. The booking is confirmed and accepted by us once you have placed a 30% deposit for the value of the services to be rendered by Nali Safaris. The remaining balance should be settled 30 days prior to departure of the safari. Nali Safaris reserves the right to cancel, without notice, any reservation in respect whether the required 30% deposit or the balance thereof has not been received.

Cancellation policy

The cancellation of your booking must be done in writing. Cancellations will only be effective on receipt of a written notification and subject to the penalty of the deposit paid. Upon receipt of the written cancellation, the following will apply:

56 days and more notice – deposit penalty (30%)

55 to 42 days’ notice – 50% of safari price penalty

27 to 15 days’ notice – 75% of safari price penalty

14 days and less notice – 100% of safari price penalty

If you decide to arrive later than the booked date, no show for the tour or leave before the completion of the tour or safari, no refund can be made.

Insurance

It is the responsibility of the client to take out travel insurance prior to the commencement of travel. Nali Safari will require that you show the proof of comprehensive Travel Insurance before departing on your safari holiday on all bookings.

Delays

In the event of changes of programmes and schedules due to any unforeseen reasons which leads to a total or partial cancellation of a booking or any additional services offered, Nali Safaris shall not be liable for cancellation fees and costs arising from such charges and delays. Please make sure that your holiday dates for a planned safari with us are fixed to avoid some inconveniencies which may lead into cancellation of your booking or extra funds caused by your delays to begin your safari.

Refunds

Nali Safaris undertakes to apply a great measure to ensure that all anticipated booked accommodation will be available as planned, there shall be no claim of any nature against the company for a refund if either any accommodation or excursion is unavailable or whether the client was unable to utilize such service, e.g. due to weather conditions etc.

Weather Conditions

Whether Nali Safaris and its employees will not be held responsible for any weather conditions that might cause a detour or a U-turn that might prevail during a tour/ safari and there will be no refund paid for such circumstances incurred by weather conditions thereof. There will be no chances of taking a risk in any bad weather or any heavily flowing periodic river.

Dietary requirements/ Medical conditions

Clients who require special diets, vegetarians or allergic to any food stuffs, please, inform us well in advance prior to your departure from home. We will appreciate it if you would inform us way in advance about your medical conditions/ allergies etc.

Wild animals

We would like to inform you well in advance about the dangers of wild animals. Please beware that animals are not domestic but very wild, if you come very near, you might get a charge if you are lucky but mostly you might be the meal of the day, the proximity to wild animals on safari must be taken cautiously. Nali Safaris, its employees or agents cannot be held responsible for any injury or accident involved into due to your unwillingness to cooperate.

Authority on tour

Dear clients, please be informed that your tour guide will only be able to have much time with you on each travelling day from the current destination to the next destination, give the tour guide time, he/she will take you to places of interest and explain factual information with regard to the sightseeing around you rather rushing to reach your next destination without any excursion to join. The decision of the tour guide will be final on all matters that are likely to endanger the safety and well-being of the group.

Consent/ Approval

The payment of the deposit or any other complete payment for a booking on any of our safari according to your booking makes an approval to all provisions of the conditions and general information contained in this web site. This agreement is liable, made subject to and shall be governed by and complete according to the Namibian law.

Responsibility

All clients are required to sign a guarantee as well a copy of these “Terms & Conditions”. Neither Nali Safaris nor any person acting on behalf of the company, shall be held liable for any loss or damage arising from any causes of any negligence of any property or self. The company shall not be held responsibilities arising from any errors or omissions contained in its brochure, late or non-confirmation or acceptance of bookings, forget to apply for a VISA, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, injury or death, weather.

Additionally, the company shall have the right at any time at its decision to cancel your stay or make alterations in accommodation or fuel price hikes. In the event of any tour rendered impossibly, illegally or bad weather or any other causes whatsoever, similar account still applies.

Tour Prices

You can e-mail us any information or requests that you so wish to: contact@nalisafaris.com.na, as we live in the world of changes, tour prices are subject to change without prior notice, should there be any increase in fuel prices, accommodation prices, exchange rates etc.. Nali Safaris will have no choice but to adjust tour prices.

Itinerary changes

Nali Safaris reserves the right to change any tour safari due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad road conditions, bad weather, natural disaster etc.… beyond our control. If there are other alternatives to suit the safari in consultation with the client, that will be the option.   Should the client wish to change the itinerary after the booking has been confirmed, the company will accept but it will be subject to availability? This may result in cancellation fee charge; a new quotation will be issued in writing to the client.
